The Mini Lesson

Through careful modeling of a teaching point, the mini lesson provides exposure to a new skill or strategy that students can use to build their knowledge within the unit.

Conferring

After the mini lesson, the teacher will meet and confer with students individually or in small groups to assess and provide targeted individualized instruction.
