The Mini Lesson

  • Through careful modeling of a teaching point, the mini lesson provides exposure to a new skill or strategy that students can use to build their knowledge within the unit.

Conferring

  • After the mini lesson, the teacher will meet and confer with students individually or in small groups to assess and provide targeted individualized instruction.
